Duties
- Provides guidance and support in the conduct of Cyberspace Operations including development of novel tactics, techniques, and procedures to overcome technological challenges
- Performs Cyberspace Effects and Enabling Capability testing and validation as part of the software and hardware development life-cycle.
- Provides support, administration, and the maintenance necessary on a wide array of technologies to ensure effective and efficient system performance and security.
- Provide expert technical guidance and oversight regarding the employment and usage of cyberspace capabilities.
- Conceptualizes, designs, procures, and/or builds secure IT systems while ensuring compliance with technical, functional, and performance requirements.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with a Special Background Investigation (SBI). SCI access is required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, employee must successfully pass a urinalysis screening prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time to various CONUS locations. This may require travel on military aircraft, ships and vehicles.
- Incumbent must successfully complete counter-intelligence (CI) scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- Appointment subject to one year trial period.
- Incumbent of the job may be on call and work irregular hours.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain unit specific qualifications to meet mission requirements.
